Lucas Aero Technics draw on 20+ years of working in small, specialised organisations to take a practical and, importantly, useful approach to Quality Management.

Current projects include:-

UK Part-CAMO implementation

Aiming for the March 2021 application deadline, working with multiple clients to conduct both initial application and transition from Part-M to Part-CAMO.

CMM role for more than one client

Writing of Compliance Monitoring Manual

Development of Audit Plan and checklists

Writing and development of Maintenance Programmes in support of Continuing Airworthiness Managers.

UK Part-M Continuing Airworthiness Manager

Following recent “Form-4” interview (yet another!), appointment as Continuing Airworthiness Manager for a UK Charitable Air Ambulance Trust.

UK-Ops Quality Manager

Providing Quality Management and oversight to a key helicopter operator.

In this role it is possible to bring together the background of PART-145 Maintenance and being a PART-66 Engineer, but the need to separate out Continued Airworthiness, Operations and of course the contracted PART-145.

PART-21G Quality Manager

PART-21 Subpart G is the approval for Manufacture. The company we support is a small specialised workshop manufacturing and welding aircraft parts, kits and components.

In this role, the position is a continual learning curve. It really is enjoyable growing with the young business whom we are supporting.

The work involves supporting the small PART-21G Organisation with day to day questions, problems and advice as well as supplier assessment and oversight, workshop control, as well as the quality auditing and development of the Audit Plan.
